Since we made our first loan in 1928, Church Development Corporation (then known as the Kansas Building Fellowship) has collected a significant amount of information about building projects.

What we’ve learned is that successful building projects begin by asking the right questions of the architects, engineers, contractors and other professionals who are engaged to assist.

We’ve assembled some of these questions below, and grouped them by category. While not all the questions will apply to every project, we have found that this list helps congregations make certain that they leave nothing to chance as they move forward.
