Founded in 1928 as "The Kansas Building Fellowship", Church Development Corporation, its investors and supporters are active, vibrant contributors to the growth of the Presbyterian Church throughout the Synod of Mid-America, and beyond.

Our Mission is "to offer access to resources that help congregations build and renovate churches and their facilities. These resources come from the people of God who invest in the stewardship opportunities available through the CDC."

Those investments come from Presbyterian Churches and their members. They range from modest to substantial, and from short- to long-term. They include traditional investments which receive market-leading returns, one-time gifts, and contributions made through estate plans.

Invested and donated funds are used to make low-interest loans to Presbyterian Churches seeking to build or renovate their facilities. Additionally, funds are also used to provide grants to small Presbyterian Churches for minor projects or emergency repairs.
